The Ramon Crater (Makhtesh in Hebrew) is the world’s largest crater and a natural wonderland in the Negev Desert with panoramic views, colored sand and fossils. The sandstone in the Large Crater oxidized with many different minerals, creating white chalk and yellow, orange, vermilion, red, purple and blue colored sands. This environmental site is ideal for sunrise or golden hour photos.
Ein Yorkeam is a large, beautiful spring that is part of the Hatira Stream. The spring is hidden under a deep dorsum, hat floods the entire area in the winter. Around the spring is bountiful flora, such as reeds and tamarisks. The route is a tough, long one with two difficult ascents and incredible views throughout. There are waterfalls and streams along the way.
